Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager (ASM) to join our team in Ludhiana. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the plywood and laminate industry, with a proven track record of driving sales growth and managing teams. The ASM will be responsible for developing relationships with architects, driving sales strategies, and leading a team to achieve targets.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development:
    Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and enhance market presence in the plywood and laminate sector.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, interior designers, and other stakeholders to promote our products and services.
  • Team Management:
    Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed sales objectives while providing ongoing training and support.
  • Market Analysis:
    Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and assess competitors, ensuring the company remains competitive.
  • Product Knowledge:
    Stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and technical specifications to provide accurate information to clients and team members.
  • Communication Skills:
    Utilize excellent communication skills to present product offerings and negotiate contracts with clients effectively.
  • Reporting:
    Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates for senior management, detailing progress towards sales goals and market developments.
  • Collaboration:
    Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns that effectively target architects and other key customers.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in the plywood/laminate industry in a sales or managerial role.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing teams.
  • Strong convincing power and ability to build relationships with clients.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Sound knowledge of marketing principles and practices in the industry.
