As an Accountant in the FMCG industry, you will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. Your responsibilities will include maintaining financial records, reconciling accounts, and providing financial analysis to support decision-making processes within the organization. You will also collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to ensure accuracy and transparency in financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record and reconcile financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to summarize and interpret financial information for management review.
- Assist in budget preparation and monitoring to ensure expenditures are within budgetary limits.
- Conduct financial analysis and variance analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and procedures, and support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
