ACCOUNTANT

Our company is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accountant with expertise in Tally, combined with MIS (Management Information System) responsibilities. In this role, you will be responsible for managing financial data, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and providing valuable insights through MIS reporting. The successful candidate will contribute to the financial health and decision-making processes of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting and Financial Management:

Maintain and update financial records using Tally software.

Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and receipts.

Reconcile bank statements and accounts to maintain financial accuracy.

Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.

MIS Reporting:

Develop and maintain a robust MIS system to provide critical information to management.

Create customized reports and dashboards to analyze financial data and performance metrics.

Generate regular and ad-hoc reports to assist in strategic decision-making.

Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities through data analysis.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

Collaborate with management to create and monitor budgets and forecasts.

Track actual financial performance against budgets and provide explanations for variances.

Compliance and Audit:

Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.

Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.

Process Improvement:

Identify areas for process improvement and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Implement best practices in accounting and MIS reporting.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with various departments to gather data and information required for reporting and analysis.

Communicate financial insights and recommendations to non-finance stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Proven experience in Tally accounting software.

Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations.

Proficiency in MIS reporting tools and advanced Excel skills.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
